Welcome to the site of the Academy of International Economic Law and Dispute Settlement. Especially, by organizing an annual summer course in Geneva (starting in 2008) and other events for advanced students and young professionals it aims at fostering the understanding of the fascinating problems related to international economic law and dispute settlement (trade in goods and services, intellectual property rights and investment).

Currently hosted by the University of Lausanne, located on the shore of Lake Geneva, the Academy benefits from a unique vicinity to some of the core global institutions in the field (WTO, UNCTAD, WIPO, etc.), which allows for a close cooperation with representatives from governments, international organisations and NGOs as well as renowned academics active in the field.
